Memory Eternal: Ellen (Olena) Liss

The Council of Orthodox Churches of Metropolitan Detroit announces with sadness that Ellen (Olena) Liss, mother of COCC President Olga Liss (Liskiwskyi), has fallen asleep in the Lord after a recent illness.

Services will be held at St. Mary the Protectress Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral (Evergreen Rd, S. of 9 Mile in Southfield): Sunday, 2 April (visitation 3-7pm; Panachyda service 6pm); Monday, 3 April (Funeral service 10am followed by luncheon); burial at the Ukrainian diocesan center in New Jersey.

May God rest her soul in peace, and be with her family at this difficult time, bringing us all hope through His Holy Resurrection.  Memory eternal!  ВІЧНАЯ ПАМ’ЯТЬ!
