Orthodox churches to offer Christmas benefit concert Dec. 12

DETROIT, MI [COCC] -- The Council of Orthodox Christian Churches of Metropolitan Detroit (COCC), together with FOCUS Detroit, will sponsor its annual "Christ is Born, Glorify Him! Orthodox Christmas Concert" on Sunday, Dec.12 at 5 p.m. at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 707 E. Lafayette (Greektown), Detroit.

This artistic event will feature The Orthodox Choir of Detroit and other local choirs representing the rich musical traditions of the Orthodox Christian world, celebrating the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.  An afterglow reception will follow.  All are welcome!

A freewill offering will be taken at the event to support the good works of The Council of Orthodox Christian Churches of Detroit (COCC) and FOCUS Detroit.

The public is invited and encouraged to attend the concert.  For further information, contact OCC President Olga Liss at Olgaliss0910@gmail.com.
