Orthodox churches to offer Christmas benefit concert Dec. 14

TROY, MI [COCC] -- "Christ is Born! Glorify Him! An Evening of Christmas Hymns and Carols from Diverse Traditions" will take place on Sunday, Dec.14 at 5 p.m. at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 760 W. Wattles Road in Troy, Michigan.

This artistic event will feature The Orthodox Choir of Metropolitan Detroit and other choirs from around Metro Detroit representing the rich musical traditions of the Orthodox Christian world, celebrating the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.  All are welcome!

A freewill collection will be taken at the event to support the ministry of FOCUS Detroit.

The public is invited and encouraged to attend the concert.  A reception will follow in the adjacent Karmanos Community Hall.
